I may collect information you provide when contacting me, booking appointments or receiving psychological services. This may include your name and contact details, appointment and payment information, correspondence, clinical information, psychological assessment results and other information relevant to the service being provided. Health and psychological information is treated as confidential special-category personal data.
I use personal information to:
respond to enquiries and arrange appointments;
provide psychological therapy, assessment and consultation;
maintain appropriate clinical and professional records;
process payments and provide invoices or receipts;
communicate with insurers or other professionals where appropriately authorised;
meet professional, safeguarding, regulatory and legal obligations.
The lawful bases I rely on include performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in providing and administering professional psychological services. Health information is processed where necessary for the provision or management of health care by a professional subject to confidentiality obligations.
I do not sell personal information. Information may be shared where necessary with service providers supporting my practice, such as Google, Calendly, payment providers such as Stripe, secure data-storage or communication providers, and professional supervisors or consultants. Information may also be disclosed where required or appropriately justified for safeguarding, regulatory or legal purposes.
Card payments may be processed securely by Stripe. I do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy and security arrangements.
My website is provided through Google Sites and appointment booking may be provided through Calendly. These services may process limited personal or technical information necessary to provide their services.
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including password protection, access controls and secure electronic storage. Clinical records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to meet professional, legal, regulatory and insurance requirements and are then securely deleted.
Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, restriction of, or deletion of your personal information, depending on the circumstances.
